Platform: Suicide Prevention for Teens
Mikayla J. T. Lupampa is the 15 year-old daughter of Jack and Veronica Lupampa of San Tan Valley, Arizona. She attends Poston Butte High School where she is a junior. She is a member of the National Honors Society. She enjoys dancing with her Pom Varsity Team and running huddles with her Track Team. Mikayla volunteers at her Church in AWANA a program that focuses on teaching children how to practice ways of knowing, loving and serving God. Family is very important to Mikayla. When she isn’t in school, she is shopping or spending time with her friends and family. She plans to start an Early Intervention Invisible Voice Breast Cancer Foundation in honor of her grandmothers. After high school Mikayla plans to attend Arizona State University and major in Pre Law. Her future plans include starting a Law firm supporting the underprivileged as her core clientele.

The 2017-2018 Miss Black Teen AZ title could be yours! Workshops will begin in April, 2017 and are free of charge. Our teen division is for contestants ages 13-17.
