2011 Miss Black Teen AZ, Angelique Jones is a 16 year old high school junior with a 4.0 GPA. Angelique loves figure skating and dancing. Angelique has been figure skating since the age of 4 ! She continues to train while volunteering as a figure skating coach at the same rink she first started skating at. Angelique is working hard and will be graduating high school a year early ! She has her sights on someday attending UCLA and then on to med school where she will become a pediatrician.
Angelique keeps busy with all of her volunteer activities. On most days you can find her passing out sack meals to the less fortunate around the valley. She also enjoys her internship with the SAVE THE FAMILY FOUNDATION OF ARIZONA. Angelique also mentors younger girls , teaching them to “DARE TO DREAM, DARE TO BELIEVE AND DARE TO SUCCEED !”. Angelique truly believes in that quote ! She also collects water, blankets, clothing, and personal hygiene items for the homeless. During her free time, Angelique loves to spend time with her pets, family and friends!
