Thank you so much for attending visiting the Miss Black Arizona Scholarship
Foundation website! Many people sometimes think that the Miss Black Arizona
Scholarship Foundation starts and ends with the annual pageants, but that
couldn’t be farther from the truth. The Pageants are so much more than
crowns, sashes and the honor of serving as Miss Black Arizona, Miss Black
Teen Arizona or as a Little Miss Black Arizona. Throughout the year the
reigning queens use their civic platform to promote goodwill within the
Phoenix community as well as throughout the state of Arizona.
Throughout the years our queens have platformed for a number of causes
including: Aids, Financial Empowerment, Mentoring and Domestic Violence to
name a few. Our charitable endeavors have garnered much needed supplies for
nonprofit organizations Keys Community Center, The Sojourner Center as well
as the Once -A-Month church.
Our organization is always seeking additional opportunities to be
involved with civic and charitable events so please keep us in mind for any
endeavors you may be currently pursuing. I encourage you participate in and
join us at all MBAZ charity events, donate to a cause and help us be the
change; as we continue to foster opportunities and seek insight on
creating not only a better Arizona, but a better America especially for
African-American women and girls!
